Formerly the home of artists and master tilemakers, Woodsview is filled with original oil paintings, handcrafted ceramics and fascinating decorative details. Its centrepiece is an extraordinary living-room chimney breast featuring more than 200 individually shaped and fired tiles, handmade in the kiln at the bottom of the garden.

The Space
Woodsview is arranged across two floors, with two bedrooms and full bathroom conveniently located on the ground floor. This makes the property particularly suitable for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
The house retains its original creative character throughout, with wooden floors, antique furnishings, bold colours and artwork.

Living Room
The welcoming living room is full of warmth and personality, with comfortable seating, abundant natural light and views over the greenery outside.

One entire chimney breast is covered with more than 200 unique ceramic tiles, each individually designed and handmade by the property’s former residents. Together with the collection of paintings and decorative pieces, it creates a space that feels more like a private gallery than a typical rental home.

Kitchen and dining
The spacious kitchen and dining area provides everything needed for a comfortable self-catered stay. A large dining table offers plenty of room for shared meals, working or planning the day ahead.
French doors open directly onto the garden, while skylights and garden-facing windows bring plenty of natural light into the room.

The house opens onto an exceptional rear garden extending approximately 200 feet and backing directly onto woodland.

Filled with mature trees, fruit trees, flowers and wildlife, it is a wonderfully peaceful place to relax. At the far end of the garden is a secluded wooden wellness hut, offering a quiet retreat for reading, unwinding or working away from the main house.

Parking and Pets
Off-street parking is available at the front of the property for 2 cars. Further free parking is available on street.

Woodsview is also pet-friendly, making it a great choice for guests who want to enjoy the surrounding Kent countryside with their four-legged companion. Please let us know about any pets before booking, additional pet fees are required.
